Don and Eileen Summers were married in 1961 in El Paso, Texas while Don was serving in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. They began serving the Lord in different capacities upon their return to Decatur, IL They served in a main line denomination for about 15 years before their introduction to the fullness of the Holy Spirit and they continued to serve in that denomination until Don retired with 33 years of service at Caterpillar and then they moved to Mount Vernon, Illinois – Don’s hometown. They began their service to the Lord at CFC sometime in 1989 and are the oldest members of CFC.

Don serves as an Elder and as the Treasurer of CFC. They have three adult children and twelve grandchildren.
